It was really nice time in Fira. The hotel was bright with budget rooms and I enjoyed pleasant staff. The location was amazing, at a short distance from Archaeological Museum of Thera. The service was all in all excellent. Also, I parked nearby.

The property was ideal with competent and excellent staff with a very nice and friendly receptionist, I loved the stay.

I felt relaxed and at home at the Sea of Aegeon Hotel. Room 18 had a quaint verandah with table and chairs together with sea views and the sea breeze to cool things down. The hotel was full of muriels on the walls which illustrated patriotic and pride in their Greek cultrual heritage. At breakfast I would hear the bells then watch the donkey trains pass by on their way to the old port. The place was quiet at night and it was great to cool off in the pool after sight seeing each day. I have been travelling for 2 months and enjoyed the ambiance of this hotel the most so far. Communication was easy and warm despite being unable to speak Greek.

My departure was the only thing I did not like about the Sea of Aegeon.

Hard to get some privacy, there was a lot of noise and the rooms were not sound proof. Old furnitures. The place is ideal only for its location and nothing more.Thus, it should be offered to a cheaper price of around 55 euro per day.

Stunning, incredible location really close to Fira city center, amazingly nice staff.

We had a triple room and it was perfect and fabulous. An electric kettle and fridges were available in the kitchen. The hotel's location was fantastic, just off the harbor, the historic center and several restaurants and cafes, Fira centre and bus station and the main square and start of the path to Imerovigli. Local fast food option Mcdonald's was 5 minutes walk away.

The unit we got was great-sized and budget with bathroom as well as balcony. Everything was PERFECT. The hotel had stunning location near to the center of the town, all the main attractions and local shops for coffee and baked goods.

The hotel was located in a quiet area, away from the busy center but still within walking distance. The pool was fantastic, offering a great spot to relax and soak up the morning and afternoon sunshine. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the free Wi-Fi was a bonus.

There were a couple of issues during our stay. The shower in the bathroom tended to flood, which seems to be a common problem in Greece.

A bit old and run down. Staff never at reception. Promised transfers not delivered as we wanted to go to the port after 8pm.

perfectly clean hotel, services were excellent and location was peaceful on local buses. i booked a nice size and airy room, that was offered with fridge, air con and a cute balcony. it had an electric kettle and refrigerators.
